We Care About Our Community
At Window World of Long Island, our products aren’t the only thing that make us unique. We strive to give back and bring positive change through our affiliation with many non-profit entities. ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
$20 Million Raised For Research
As the Window World Inc. charitable arm, Window World Cares is proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We are grateful for the impact we’ve been able to make for the children and their families. Since 2008, Window World Cares has raised over $20 million, benefiting the hospital’s research. In 2010, Window World Cares received the St. Jude’s “New Corporate Partner of the Year” award for excellence and dedication in fundraising.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Providing Homes For Veterans & Families
Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, we’ve donated exterior remodeling products to help build a home for a local veteran and their family. This collaboration allows us to put our commitment to community involvement into practice by providing high-quality products to our neighbors.
PAWS OF WAR
Helping Those On Both Ends Of The Leash
Window World of Long Island proudly sponsored “Storm”, a service dog that was presented to a Long Island Navy veteran through Paws of War. This non-profit is committed to rescuing, training and placing shelter dogs to help serve and provide independence to veterans and first responders who suffer from traumatic effects sustained while serving their country. Their mission in supporting our military community aligns perfectly with ours, and we are grateful to support this wonderful organization and another local veteran.
VETERANS AIRLIFT COMMAND
Providing Transportation For Veterans
The Window World family includes a number of veterans, and we have immense gratitude for all veterans. To support this community, Window World is proud to partner with the Veterans Airlift Command. This organization provides air transportation for wounded warriors and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes. We take pride in bringing our veterans and their families together.
